Visa Type M (Pensioner/persons of independent means)
Type “M” visa (Pensioner): receive pension due to retirement, or receive periodical income from a provable legal source, for the amounts listed in the requirements chapter.
- Original, valid passport.
- 2 photos (3cm x 4cm) on white background.
- A certificate acknowledging monthly pension payments to the foreign visa applicant for an amount not less than three (3) times the current Colombian monthly minimum wage, issued by the competent entity or diplomatic or consular mission (accredited in Colombia) of the country where the foreigner receives the pension.
- A certificate issued by a public body or private company, recognized by the respective government, specifying the income paid or paid in the name of the foreign applicant for the visa, for an amount not less than ten (10) times the current Colombian minimum monthly wage.
